History The date is July 31st, 1949, and Range Office & Equipment has just opened its doors for the first time.  A new page of history is being written for the store that was once known as Burgher Williams / Range Typewriter Company. Under the direction of new owner, Philip Carlson Sr., Range Office Supply & Equipment (ROSE) now has new name, a new owner, and a new vision.....quality products with fast, reliable, small town friendly "service"! Office supplies weren't new to Philip Carlson .... neither was Range Typewriter Company.  He originally started working there in 1937.  Little did he know that a part time job stocking shelves would lead to not only a sales job - but someday owning the Company! In the tradition of their father, Gary, Phil, and Kaye are continuing this family owned and operated business ... but some things have changed, office supplies are not just paper clips & pencils anymore. While these items are still important, we also offer a complete line of janitorial supplies, ink jet and laser supplies, and custom printed merchandise for advertising. We know the value of your time, and by becoming your single source supplier, we help you eliminate the high costs of multiple vendors, deliveries, and paperwork. While keeping in the tradition of excellent service, we have an in-house technician, a knowledgeable sales staff that will call on your business at your convenience, and free timely delivery service!
